Anne Dudek

Anne Louise Dudek (born August 25, 1970) is an American actor from the United States. She is best known for her character of Tiffany Wilson from the 2004 film White Chicks Danielle Brooks of the USA Network series Covert Affairs and Dr. Amber Volakis of the Fox show House. Anne Dudek was an American actor who is best known for her character Tiffany Wilson from the 2004 comedy White Chicks. The television roles she has played comprise Dr. Amber Volakis, in Fox's House sitcom, Danielle Brookson, in USA Network drama Covert Affairs; and Lura Gran in HBO the drama Big Love. Dudek is an Massachusetts resident who went to Northwestern University. It was in Northwestern that she received her debut acting role in The Iphigenia Cycle. After the Broadway run, she went to New York City and won a Joseph E.Calloway Award. American Theater Magazine named Dudek one of the ten promising young actors to watch. Dudek landed roles in television and on the big screen. The talented actress and mother of two on screen was married from 2008 until the year 2016 with Matthew Heller. Dudek was born in Boston Massachusetts on March 22 1975 but was raised in Newton. When she was a child, she was a student at Northwestern University. She appeared in numerous theater productions as well as made her Broadway debut with Wrong Mountain. She later won the Connecticut Critics Circle Award for her role on The Glass Menagerie. The Book Group: A British Comedy-Drama marked her first appearance in the world of television. She's been an actor on wide range of television shows, including Desperate Women How I Met Your Mother, Friends, ER, Charmed Bodies Numb3rs and Six Feet Under. In the pilot for Psych she was Lucinda, as well as in Law & Order Criminal Intent the female teacher who was having a sexual relationship and a fellow student. Dudek later landed a frequent character on House beginning in its fourth season as Amber Volakis, one of forty physicians who are being considered by Dr. Gregory House for permanent roles within his team. Dudek continued playing her character for the entirety of the season, however she was killed during Wilson's head as well as the House's heart in the two-part finale of the show. In episode 5 of the season Saviors, House would have returned later in the episode as an illusion. That's how she was seen for the rest of seasons. Dudek later appeared in Mad Men as next-door neighbor Francine Hanson as well as on Big Love as one of Alby Grant's antagonistic wives, both with regular roles. Dudek appeared in Covert Affairs, portraying Danielle Brooks as the sister of main character. Dudek played Tiffany Wilson, the cruise-line proprietor of the cruise line in White Chicks (2004 comedy) as well as Anthony Hopkins' daughter in The Human Stain.
